Charlie Herman Henderson, 80, son of the late Mr. George Henderson and Mrs. Narcissie Brown Henderson, was born January 21, 1888 in Green County, Kentucky and departed this life at 12:15 p.m. Monday, January 20, 1969 at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Greensburg. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church at the time of his death. He united in marriage to Miss Linnie Paxton, December 24, 1922, who survives. To this unit was born three daughters and one son. Surviving are: Ethridge Henderson, Mrs Faye Wright and Mrs. Laverne Yarberry all of Greensburg. Dixie Faye Henderson died in Infancy. Mr. Henderson is also survived by five grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at the Coward and Parrott Funeral Home Wednesday, January 22, 1969 at 10 a.m. with burial in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Rev. Jack Vibbert and Rev. James Evams officiated.Active pallbearers were Kenneth Coffey, Henry Kessler, Sam Garrison, Simon Piarce, Stanley Paxton, and Marshall Eastman. Honorary pallbearers were Woodson Lewis, Herman Lisle, Ken McGinnis, Edd Osborne, Charles Helm and Ollie Mitchell.
