SHe was born December 11, 1911, in Miller County, the daughter of Sidney and Myrtle (Snellen) Cardwell. She married Louis Frederick Fischer Sr. on December 14, 1929, in Fulton. He preceeded her in death.
Survivors include a son, Louis Frederick Jr. of Hartsburg, a daughter, Barbara Carel of Jefferson City, one brother, Earl Cardwell of Hartsburg, two sisters, Sidney Johnsey of Eldon and Wilma Hazelbaker of Des Moines, Iowa, thirteen grandchildren, thirty-two great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceeded in death by one sister.
Mrs. Fischer attended Cole County schools and was a wife and homemaker. She was a member of Central United Church of Christ with Reverand Stephen H. Buckholz presiding. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetary in Jefferson City. Visitation is from 5-7pm today at Buescher Memorial Home.
