SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services Mr. Alvis Lynn "Pete" Hood, age 42, will be held Wednesday, March 17, 2004 at 2 p.m. in the Kings Corner Assembly of God Church with Rev. David Logan and Rev. Andy Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the Springhill Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Mortuary, Springhill.
Mr. Hood was born May 29, 1961 in Springhill, LA to John Thomas and Essie Katherine Hood and passed away suddenly March 13, 2004 in Shreveport, LA. He was a native of the Springhill area and resident of the Shreveport area, member of the Assembly of God Church and worked as a tree trimmer for Moon Tree Services.
He is survived by a sister, Teresa Little of Plain Dealing, LA; brothers, Thomas Wayne Hood and wife, Nancy of Springhill, LA, Dennis M. Hood of Jonesboro, LA; step-mother, Lois Benson Hood of Sarepta, LA and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Hood was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Joyce Whiddon and Nora Hood.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Brown, Stuart Jones, Terry Hood, Rusty Whiddon, Clint Culbertson and Michael Little. Bailey Mortuary, Inc.
