Basinet obituaries@Tim esRecord.Com 12/10/2007 BRUNSWICK — Paul "Kelly" Moulton Basinet, 68, died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2007, at a local hospital.He was born in Freeport on April 5, 1939, a son of Roger Basinet, Sr. and Audrey Parker. He married Elizabeth "Betty" Ross in Topsham on Dec. 29, 1984.He was a former member of the Elks of Brunswick and Odd Fellows of Falmouth. He worked for Bath Iron Works for 16 years and then was employed for five years and retired from Hannaford in Brunswick. He was a volunteer for the Crusade Capers and a lieutenant with the Topsham Fire Department for many years. He always found helping others to be rewarding.He was an avid deer hunter, trout fisherman and admirer of nature. He enjoyed golfing and camping. He spent several summers at Bradbury Mountain volunteering with the upkeep of the campgrounds. He loved animals and, later in his life, preferred hunting them with his camera. He especially enjoyed his grandchildren.Surviving are his wife, Betty; three sons, Danny Basinet of Bath, Roger Basinet of Brunswick and William Basinet of South Portland; his mother, Audrey Wilson of Topsham; four sisters, Marjorie Craig and her husband, Les, of Brunswick, Faye Day and her husband, Steve, of Freeport, Eilene McKenney of Brunswick, and Caroline Vining and her husband, Charles, of Yarmouth; a brother, Roger, Jr. and his wife, Glenda, of Plant City, Fla.; a stepson, Robert Andersen and his wife, Heather, of Athens; a stepdaughter, Vickie Crimmins and her husband, Jonathan, of Brunswick; 12 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at the Brackett Funeral Home, 29 Federal St., Brunswick, with the Rev.
