Memorial services for Albert Odell Turner, Jr., 65, a longtime Stringtown area resident, will be hed at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 7 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church at Stringtown with Bro. Bartt Bradford officiating. Services are under the direction of Brown's Funeral Service in Atoka. Turner died on Monday, July 4, 2011.

Born at Seminole on November 28, 1945, he was the son of Albert Odell and Lottie {Farmer} Turner. He was a truck driver for over 20 years and later owned and operated the McGee Store for several years. Turner was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was married to Suzy Turner. Preceding him in death was his mother, Lottie {Farmer} Turner.

Survivors include his wife, Suzy Turner; tree children, Scott Turner and wife, Chasitey, Wichita Falls, Texas; Erin Turner and Casey Turner, both of Ponca City; two sisters, Debbie Raymann and husband, Mark of Stringtown; Barbara Ambery and husband, Tom, Sacramento, Calif.; his father, Albert Odell Turner, Sr. of Stringtown; three stepchildren, Daphne Bailey, Robert Lambert and Theresa Settlemire; along with humerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends and fishing buddies. Honorary pallbearers are Albert Odell Turner, Sr., Lonnie Ray Farmer, Bobbu Giles,Jr., Bob Smith, Ray Farmer and Cotton Bradford.
