Graveside funeral services will be held in the West Side District Cemetery Thursday, Aug. 18, at 10 a.m. for Ernest H. Adams Sr. 57. The services will be conducted by the pastor of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Taft.
Mr. Adams was born September 7, 1930 in Knobel, Arkansas and died August 12,1988 in Bakersfield, California.
He came to Kern County over 30 years ago. He moved to Maricopa 20 years ago, where he made his home.
For the past seven years he worked as a maintenance man for Edna's Diner and Lowe's both in Maricopa. He was previously a carpenter for over 25 years doing commercial building.
Mr. Adams was a Veteran U.S. Army and Air Force.
He is survived by a son, three sisters, and three brothers.
