Sudden Death of a Well Known French Lady This Morning
Louise Benoit, wife of Louis Nadeau, the shoe dealer in the Quimby Sweetser block, died suddenly this morning at her home, No. 38 Pike street, aged fifty-four years.
Mrs. Nadeau was attacked with a paralytic shock yesterday morning, which affected the heart. Last night she appeared to be somewhat improved, but early this morning she grew worse and at 4:30, breathed her last.
She was of a kind and loving disposition and her death was received with sorrow by a large circle of friends.
The funeral will be held at St. Joseph's church Thursday.
Besides a husband she leaves four children, Mrs. Romeo, Mrs. Amnot, Miss Emily Nadeau and Benoit Nadeau
