Homer Knight George, 52, of 1002 Village Dr., South Charleston, an accountant with the Public Service Commission, died yesterday in Thomas Memorial Hospital at South Charleston after a short illness.

He was born in Tyler County in 1902 and was a veteran of World War I.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Margaret Hickle George; two sons, William H. and Homer Knight, Jr., both of South Charleston; three brothers, Ralph of Parkersburg, Oris of Ohio and Thomas of Pennsylvania; four sisters, Mrs. Lucy Davis and Mrs. Lessie Weekley of Pennsboro, and Edith George of Pennsylvania and Lucille George of Ohio.

Service will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Snodgrass mortuary chapel in South Charleston. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
