Alan Randall "Randy" Turner, 72, of Huntington, IN, died Friday, Oct. 9, 2009, at 6:50 a.m. at Miller's Merry Manor in Huntington.

Mr. Turner served in the United States Air Force for six years, was a route driver for 30 years at Hostess Bakery in Fort Wayne and was a sales clerk at Sears in Fort Wayne for 17 years. He was a member of Pilcher's Chapel United Methodist Church in Huntington.

He was born Nov. 16, 1936, in Indianapolis to Tal Andy and Mary Etta Eddelman Turner. He married Jacqualine "Jackie" Brown on June 2, 1968, in Huntington. She survives.

Also surviving are two sons, John "JJ" (Heather) Turner, of Indianapolis; and James "Jim" (Jennifer) Turner, of Bloomington; four brothers, John Turner, of Denver, CO; Tal (Kay) Turner, of Indianapolis; Tom (Judy) Turner, of Orlando, FL; and Mike (Keva) Turner, of Daytona Beach, FL; and five grandchildren, Christopher, Samuel, Jacob, Rebekah and Lauren Turner.

A funeral service was held Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2009, at Deal-Rice Funeral Home - Huntington Chapel, with Rev. Russell Buzzard officiating. Burial followed in Marion National Cemetery, Marion.

Casketbearers were John W. Turner, Tal Turner, Tom Turner, Mike Turner, Jim Turner, John J. Turner, Chris Turner, Jacob Turner, Samuel Turner, Ken Tuner, Ron Turner, Phil Norris, Dean Fosnaugh and Lloyd Allred.
