Mrs. Dora Belle Flatter,79,route 3,Weaver Station,died at the Best Nursing Home,Greenville, route 1,at 5:15 p.m. Saturday,where she had been a patient for two weeks,she had been in failing health for several years. Her parents were the late Earl Michael and Catherine (Arnett) Michael Beanblossom. She was the widow of the late Charles Flatter Sr.,who died in 1955.

Survivors include,eight sons;Cloid,William,Alva, Paul,Raymond,Charles Jr.,Herman and Virgil;seven daughters,Mildred Best,Geneva McGlothin,Ruth Hesson,Virginia Ross,Betty Brown,Helen Billheimer and Mary Whittaker;22 grandchildren;30 great-grandchildren;and one step-sister,Mrs. Daisy Rolfe.

Services were held at the Miller funeral home,Greenville. Burial was in Ft. Jefferson cemetery.
