Funeral services for Lester B Overstreet, 64, of 1421 Junction Highway were held November 17 from the chapel of Kerrville Funeral Home with Dr Terry Peters officiating. Interment was in the Garden of Memories. He died November 15 in the Sid Peterson Hospital.
Born July 16, 1917 in Waco, he was a resident of Kerrville for the past 18 years and was a former longtime resident of Corpus Christi. A veteran of World War II, he was the operator of Overstreet Fruit Market and Nursery.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs Faye Overstreet of Kerrville, a daughter, Mrs Marilyn Moore; three sons, Lester B Overstreet, Jr; Alford Overstreet, all of Corpus Christi and Howard Overstreet of Amarillo; 16 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
