OBITUARY
Higginbotham Rites Today
"ROGERS, Ark., July 2..--Funeral services for Samuel Higginbotham, 82 years old, who died Wednesday in Rogers Memorial hospital, will be conducted at 9 o'clock Saturday morning in the St. Vincent DePaul Caholic [sic:Catholic] church. A requiem mass will be offered by the Rev. Father Joseph N. Doyle. Burial will be in Mondell [sic: Mundell] cemetery under direction of the Burns funeral home.
A retired cattleman and farmer, Mr. Higginbotham had been a resident of the Mondell [sic: Mundell] community for the last 50 years. He is survived by five daughters, a brother, a sister and several grandchildren."

Sam & Delia are buried in the Union Chapel part of the Ruddick Cemetery in Garfield, AR. The Union Chapel Cemetery was originally located at Mundell. After Beaver Dam was funded, all cemeteries which would then be under water were moved elsewhere. Union Chapel was moved along side Ruddick Cemetery in Garfield.
