Oakdale--Funeral services for Hardy James Ballard, 59, were at 2 p.m. Friday in the Mount Olive Baptist Church. The Rev. Albert Nugent officiated. Burial was in Cryer Cemetery under direction of Ardoin Funeral Home.
Mr. Ballard died at 6:45 a.m. Friday in the Oakdale General Hospital.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Beatrice Ballard; two brothers, Dewitt Ballard of New Mexico; and Arthur Ballard of Oakdale; and two sisters, Mrs. Evie Havens and Mrs. Dovie Wiggins, both of Oakdale.
