Terry L. Cobey, 64, of Syracuse, passed away Friday. Terry was a native of Gouverneur, NY. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1964 to his retirement in 1984 and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. His father, Robert J., predeceased him. Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Helen T. and George Moskos of Auburn; his son, Eugene (Patricia) Cobey of Georgia; his grandchildren, Brian and Kaitlyn Rose; his uncle, Ray (Rita) Theriault of Syracuse; his aunts, Carol (Terry) Lynch and Bonnie Theriault of Gouverneur; his special pen pal, Lillian Smith of San Diego, CA; and his cousins. Services with military honors will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
