Alfred Ray "Butch" Hawkey, 67, of Kingman Kan., formerly of Shirley and Bloomington, Ill died June 22, 2011 at Wichita, Kansas. Butch was born March 22, 1944, at McLean Il., the son of Clemons Leo and Susie Pearl Horath Hawkey, they preceded him in death. Alfred married Evelyn Louise Cochran on June 6, 1964 in Shirley. She survives. Butch is also survived by his daughters Kimberly ( Steve) Olson, Christine (Lonnie) Spires and Tricia (Jason) Fairchild; and his son James Ray Hawkey. He is also survived by six sisters , Charlene Wilkins, Shirley (Bob) Funk, Marjorie Watkins, Beverly (William) Sellberg, Patricia (Duane) Buck and Brinda (Perry) Hardin; two brothers Russell, and Robert (Shirley), 12 garndchildren. and 5 Great-grandchildren.
Butch was preceded in death by his parents, sister Linda Roland and grandson Chase.

A longtime resident of Kingman he retired from Vanlanding Motor, Kingman. Butch also owned and operated Shirley Repair Shop in Shirley prior to moving to Kingman.
