Services for retired Staff Sgt. Peter Ronald Taylor, 56, of Killeen will be 1:30 PM Monday at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen with full military honors.

Burial will follow in Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.

Mr. Taylor died Friday, July 8, at his home.

Peter Ronald Taylor was born on September 18, 1954, to Herbert Ronald and Mary Lorna McFarland Taylor in Montreal, Canada. He retired from the U.S. Army after more than 20 years of service. He recently worked for DynCorp, 1996-2005, and was a member of the DAV.

Survivors include his wife, Dianna Taylor; a daughter, Leigh Bird of Sublette, KS; a sister, Heather Medina of Roy, WA; and a grandson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2433 Ridgepoint Drive, Suite B, Austin, TX, 78754 or www.cancer.org.

Visitation will be one-hour prior to the service.
