Services for Elmer R. Snoke of Grand Junction, who died Wednesday at 6:10 p.m. in St. Mary's Hospital, will be conducted by Dr. Elroy Shikles of the First Baptist Church Saturday at 11 a.m. from Callahan-Edfast Chapel in Grand Junction.

Interment in Cedar Cemetery at Montrose is set for Saturday at 2 p.m.

Born March 7, 1892 at Baldwin, Wis., Elmer Rollie Snoke made his home there until he was 13, when the family located at Montrose. He attended Montrose schools.

A retired baker, Mr. Snoke owned shops in Montrose, Gunnison, Silverton and Olathe before locating in Grand Junction 13 years ago.

He was first married to Luella States who died in 1968 in Grand Junction. On Oct. 30, 1969, he was married at Montrose to Myrtle E. Millikin.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. LeRoy (Edna May) King, Grand Junction; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; three step-sons: Sam Millikin, Grand Junction; Elton Millikin, Greeley, and Leslie Wilson, Long Beach, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Mildred Burns, Montrose, and Mrs. Bessie O'Bannon, Highland, Calif.

In addition to his interest in the bakery business, Mr. Snoke's avocations were fishing, hunting and dancing.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Grand Junction chapter of American Assn. of Retired Persons, Older Americans Center, and the Golden Age Dance Group.
