She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Oak Forrest Cumberland Presbyterian Church at the time of her death.
She united in marriage to Jake Creason on September 15, 1910, who preceded her in death on April 4, 1970. To this union was born four sons and four daughters: Rollin Creason, Route 3, Greensburg; Mrs. Nellie Marr, Star Route, Summersville; Mrs. Lottie Marr, Route 4, Greensburg; Arthur Creason, Route 3, Greensburg; Mrs. Dorsey Russell, Route 3, Greensburg; and Alton Creason, Route 2, Greensburg. Clovis Ann Creason preceded her mother in death in 1928 and Carl Creason preceded his mother in death in 1980.
She is survived by one sister: Mrs. Gladys Shofner of Route 3, Greensburg. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
The remains were in the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home. Funeral services were conducted in the Oak Forrest Cumberland Presbyterian Church at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 2, 1983 with burial in the Wilson Cemetery. Rev. Ancil Durrett and Rev. Shiley Beard officiated.
Pallbearers were Larry Creason, Danny Creason, Ronnie Russesll, Barry Marr, Calvin Creason and Ricky Russell.
