Addison, Nov. 13 - Albert B. Roberts died Wednesday, Nov. 7, at the age of 74 years, 7 months and 22 days. He was born in Addison, March 15, 1871, the son of Charles and Jane (Bird) Roberts. He is survived by his wife, Ida Meyers Roberts, three daughters - Mrs. Mabel Rembold of Carmichaels, Mrs. Emma Dunn and Mrs. Mary Margaret Thorn of Uniontown - and two sons - Harry and Charles Roberts of Addison. Also surviving are two brothers, William Roberts of Addison and Frank B. Roberts of Mars, Pa., and two sisters, Mrs. Emma Augustine and Mrs. Anna Augustine, both of Addison. Funeral services were conducted at the family home last Saturday afternoon by Rev. James Bird, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal Church, Addison, of which church Mr. Roberts was a member since 1907. He was also a member of the K of P Lodge. Pall bearers were Bruce Sellers, Winfield Leslie, David Bartholomew, George Graves, Frank C. Wright and Edgar Whetsell. The floral tributes were many and beautiful. Interment was made in the Addison Cemetery under the direction of Mortician H.R. Rishebarger. Mrs. Thorn was unable to attend her father's funeral as she was in the hospital at Uniontown with a new baby. All the other close relatives with the exception of one brother, Frank B. Roberts, were present. Other relatives from away who attended were Mr. and Mrs. Harry Roberts and daughter Carol, and Mr. and Mrs. James Roberts of Ohio. [Unknown Source]
