William Henry never married. The family gossip is that he was jilted in his early 20's and never dated again. He left Maxville in his late teens and settled near Circleville. He spent most of his life as a farm helper. He eventually moved to New Lexington where he rented a small store on Rehobeth Rd. In this store he bought and sold used tires, sold candy, hardware, etc. He lived in the back of the store. When the Great Depression hit he moved to Williamsport where he farmed again for a little while.
