The funeral of Carl Oscar Sterner, 69, retired painting contractor, who died suddenly Monday at his home, 1911 South Geddes Street, will be held at 2:30 P.M. Wednesday in the A. R. Hollon funeral home, the Rev. Dr. Edward L. Keller of the First English Lutheran Church officiating. Central City Lodge 305, F. and A. M., will conduct rites. Mr. Sterner, a resident of Syracuse 51 years, was a member of Central City Lodge, and a life member of the Tigris Shrine. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nellie Sterner; a son, Oscar E. Sterner; a granddaughter, and three sisters in Stockholm, Sweden, Mrs. Anna Svenson and Miss Jennie and Miss Hilda Sterner.
