Funeral for Albert W. Addison, 60, of Dillsboro, IN, was conducted Tuesday, March 14, at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan with Pastor Jim Pittman officiating. Burial was at the Green Cemetery in Elrod.
Mr. Addison died Friday, March 10, 2000, at his residence.
He was a member of the Hogan Hill Baptist Church and was a former pastor of Cass-Union Baptist Church. He was a former employee at Hamilton Foundry at Harrison and Kahn Packaging Co. in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Born in Heidelberg, Ky., May 25, he was the son of Archie and Laura Moore Addison. He married Leatha B. Burton on June 20, 1960. She survives.
Also, surviving are two daughters Regina Benham of Holton and Tabitha Ratliff of Dillsboro; a brother, Hershel Addison, Dillsboro; three sisters, Alma Cornett of North Vernon, Edith Lane of Butlerville, and Gladys Burton, Dillsboro; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers Bobby and Archie Addision, Jr.; a sister Clara Wells; a daughter-in-law, Cheryl Addison; and a step-granddaughter, Christy Taulbee.
Memorials may be made to the family.
