She was born March 6, 1953, in Paris, a daughter of Avoid and Martha Ellen Duncan Golightly. She attended Euless schools and was of the Baptist faith. She loved to work in the yard, and was a lover of cats. She enjoyed bird watching. She had endured many hardships throughout life, but her consistent character and love of life helped her to endure. Her strength was an amazement to her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and by a sister, Carolyn Joyce Golightly.
She is survived by a daughter, Connie Sue Golightly, of Yantis; her lifelong and special friend, Carl Ritch, of Yantis; two brothers, Jack Golightly and wife, Mary Ann, of Burleson, and Donnie Golightly and wife, Janet, of North Richland Hills; a twin sister, Brenda Wilson, and husband, Lee, of Yantis; numerious nieces and nephews.
