She was the daughter of Michael and Lucinda Walker and was born in Alpha, Ohio, August 10, 1861. She had lived in Ottumwa practically all her life, having come here as a baby in a covered wagon.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian church.
Survivng are four sons, W.W. and Theodore Bruchman of Ottumwa, Fred B. Bruchman of Oskaloosa, and Otto Bruchman of Grand Rapids, Mich.; daughters, Mrs. J.J. McCartney of Ottumwa, and Mrs. Harvey Larson of Denver; seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, T.H. Bruchman, well-known Ottumwa tailor.
The body is at Johnson's funeral chapel.
