A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday, July 8, 2011, at Sacred Heart Church, Moline. Visitation will be 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Rafferty Funeral Home, 2111 1st St. A, Moline.
Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline. Memorials can be made to Living Lands and Waters.
Steve was born January 6, 1989, in Moline, the son of Frank and Susan Garland Rogers.
Steve received an Associate's Degree from Black Hawk College and was attending University of Illinois, Springfield.
Steve loved the Grateful Dead and was an avid Chicago sports fan. He was a friend to everyone.
Survivors and include his parents, Frank and Sue, Moline; sister, Kelly at home; half brother, Christopher Rogers, Coal Valley; maternal grandparents, William and Mary Ann Garland, Moline; paternal grandparents, Rufus and Rosalee Rogers, Moline; and aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.
