Born Lorenz Alfred Zielsdorf. Son of Julius and Mathilda Ollerman Zielsdorf. His grandparents were Friedrich and Augusta Hoeft Zuelsdorf, and Peter and Ernestine Ollerman. He married Alice M. Parpart on June 26, 1936 at Sacred Heart College (now Maranatha). They were the parents of 3 children; Barbara Gaugert, Carol Keeser, and Howard Zielsdorf. He was brother to Dorothy Pieper, Lillian Wege, and Arthur Zielsdorf. He worked at Ira L. Henry Box Factory, a company his father and uncle were responsible for starting, when a branch was opened in Watertown (the buisness started in Waupun). He lived at 329 Warren St his whole life, except for the last 12 years when he was resident of Marquardt Memorial Manor. He died of complications from diabetes.
