Lloyd S. McPhail, 64, Lakeville, died Saturday at St. Cloud Veterans Administration Medical Center.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. The Rev. Mark Vander Tuig will officiate. Burial will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis.

Friends may call after 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church in St. Cloud. Arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Home, Sauk Rapids.

Lloyd McPhail was born March 14, 1925, in Minneapolis to William and Bertha (Cummings) McPhail. He married Barbara Blood Feb. 17, 1968, in St. Cloud and lived most of his life in the Twin Cities area. He had been employed as a seaman on the Great Lakes 12 years and by Bishman's Manufacturing, Osseo, and as a mechanic by E. J. Longyear, Minneapolis. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife, Rice; daughter and son, Kim and Adam, Rice; stepfather, Julius Pol, Minneapolis; and brother, Robert, Minneapolis.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
