AUGHTMAN RITES HELD AT HEATH

James William Aughtman, 77-year-old member of a pioneer family, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. W.L. Patterson, on Thursday, May 30.
Funeral services were held on May 31, at the Church of Christ in Heath, with Brothers Herman Register, of Dozier and Albert Fleetwood of Andalusia, officiating. Music was by the church choir; Foreman's directed.

Surviving in addition to Mrs. Patterson are two grandchildren, and a brother, J.D. Aughtman, like the deceased, a resident of RFD 6.

Pallbearers were Marvin Garrett, R.V. Thomasson, R.W. Grantham, Glen Peek, E.C. Odom and Mutt Chavers.
