Miller, D.B. - aged 71 died at his home here this morning at 6:50, following a two months illness. He leaves his widow, five sons, E.O.,Hyson, Isaiah and Iverson, five daughters, Mrs. Richard Besheras, Mrs. Vernon Hurst, Mrs. Bastile Millet, Mrs. Dawson Young and Mrs. Sol Acy, a brother Oliver, three sisters Mrs. Leon Heard, Mrs. Annie Norton and Mrs. Florence Bruce, 30 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. The body rested at the Woodruff Funeral home in Baton Rouge and was brought to the residence here this afternoon. The funeral will be held from the residence tomorrow with services to follow at 3 p.m. at the Gonzales Baptist Church, with the Rev. W.W. Hamilton. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion cemetery.
