Son of Homer and Highly Jane Adams. Husband of Alma Jean Long Adams. Father of Karen (Paul)Knisley, Don (Yvonne) Adams, Kathleen (Scott) Skinner and Susan (Dane) Patterson. Grandfather of Beth (Ryan) Maurer, Amy Adams, T. Ryan Skinner, Sarah Hanley and Rachel Hanley. Great-grandfather of Hayley Maurer, Brooke Maurer and Gabriel Maurer. Brother of Homer, Russell, Irene, Roy, Shirley and Carl Adams. Attended Pickaway Twp. High School. U.S. Army veteran.

Preceded in death by his parents, wife and infant grandson and three brothers.

Former Circleville, Ohio Police Officer, retired truck driver and member of Teamsters Local 413.

Beloved by all that knew him, he was constantly helping neighors, family and friends without ever asking for anything in return and refusing any offers of help for himself.

My dad had a joyous passing. We were praying with his pastor, then started laughing and telling funny stories about him, us, what he did to us when we got in trouble, teasing each other. As we were escorting the pastor to the elevator, he took his last breath. He left this world hearing laughter, not tears - just the way he wanted it to be.
