Robert P. Bell, 69, of Mooreland, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2011 at his residence.
He was born March 3, 1942, in New Castle, the son of Eullillian (Fannon) and the late Hobert F. Bell.
He was a 1961 graduate of Mooreland High School. Bob retired from Chrysler in June 2003, after 38 years of service as a furnace repairman. He was a member of the Muncie Moose Lodge and a former member of the New Castle Eagles. He was affiliated with the Buck Creek Church of the Brethren. He enjoyed traveling and cruising all over the world.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Teresa (Cline) Bell, whom he married September 10, 1961; two children;
He was preceded in death by his father in December 31, 1996; brother, Nicky, June 9, 1995; son-in-law, Bruce Koger, September 24, 1998; and step-great-grnaddaughter, Lauren Wiley, June 4, 2007.
Service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Charles Bell and Max James officiating. Burial will follow in Mooreland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-6 p.m. Sunday.
