Louise Catherine Holder was the daughter of George Jacob Holder (c1787 to past 1851) and his second wife, Jane "Jenny" Powell (c1817 to past 1851), who married 22 Aug 1833 at Wilkes County, North Carolina.

Louise had a daughter out of wedlock, namely:

1. Augusta Isabelle Holder Butner (1866-1941)

Louise later married James Wesley Culler (1846-1921) on 17 Nov 1871 at Forsyth County, North Carolina and had additional children.
