Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Central Christian Church in Newton, with Dale Hood officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery in Newton. Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. Monday and an hour before services at the church.

Goebel was born June 5, 1920, in Newton, the Newton, the daughter of Frank White and Katie (Robards) White. She married Harold Goebel April 2, 1941. He preceded her in death Jan. 9, 1975.
She was a homemaker, was a member of Gulf Coast Christian Church and was a former member of Fox Valley Christian Church in Batavia.
She is survived by a son, Delmar Goebel, of Birmingham, Ala.; four daughters, Carolyn Doss, of Pensacola, Fla., Marilyn Bennett, of Pensacola, Fla., Joyce Hull, of Jennings, La., and Linda Adams, of Powder Springs, Ga.; two brothers, Noel White and Ivan White, both of Newton; a sister, LaVera Vandel, of Independence, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a sister, Jessie Acklin.
