DAVENPORT - Services for Betty M. Abel, 73, of 2636 Scott St., will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Weerts Funeral Home, Davenport. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today.
Mrs. Abel died Tuesday at Genesis Medical Center-West Campus, Davenport.
She retired in 1984 as co-owner of White Market downtown Davenport.
Betty O'Dette married Howard Abel Jr. in 1944 in Davenport.
She was past president of the former Mercy Hospital Auxiliary and Duck Creek Golf Club and Grant School PTA. She also enjoyed bowling.
Memorials may be made to Genesis Medical Center-West Campus, Davenport.
Survivors include her husband; a son, James, Phoenix; two grand-daughters; a sister, June Harder, Rock Island; and brothers, James O'Dette, Rock Island, and Richard O'Dette, Scottsdale, Ariz.
