Henry White McNeely obituary, Democrat Messenger, Waynesburg (Greene County), Pennsylvania, 15 February, 1940

Henry White McNeely, aged 71 years, well known farmer of the Love's Hill district, died at his home Tuesday night, Feb. 13, 1940, at 5:30 o'clock following an illness since last December.

The deceased was a son of Stephen and Lucy Knight McNeely, deceased, and was born December 13, 1869, in Wayne Township. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Belle Scott McNeely, and the following children: J. M. "Jack" McNeely, at home; Harry McNeely, of Jefferson, R. D. 2, and Sherman McNeely, of Marmet, W. Va., and one sister, Mrs. Edith Hamilton, of Dunbar.

No funeral arrangements will be made until a road is broken through the snow which is reported as having drifted nearly four feet in the lane leading to the McNeely home.
