Avon High School agriculture and shop teacher and guidance counselor from 1955-1964. Died of throat cancer in Tipton, IN. He was a former principal at Tipton HS. He was assistant superintendent of Tipton schools, retiring in 1993. A Navy veteran of the Korean War,he was a graduate of Purdue and Butler Universities. He was survived by his wife, Marilyn (Brown) Rogers ; son, Dr. Geoffrey Rogers; daughter Karen L. McKinney; brothers,Dr. Donald L Rogers, and Norman E Rogers, and three grandchildren.
