Albert was born March 9, 1847, at DeKalb, St. Lawrence Co., New York, son of James and Augusta Finley. He died Oct. 1, 1940, at the home of his daughter Jennie M. Swanston, at 3100 15th Avenue South, Minneapolis, Minn., aged 93 years, 6 months and 22 days. His remains were returned to Cumberland and buried there in Lakeside Cemetery. Albert was married twice, with his first marriage to Charlotte Prerere or Prince, by David Mackfalls, in Macomb, St. Lawrence Co., New York. They separated in about 1870, and may have later divorced. Children, if any, unknown. In 1873, Albert was united in marriage to Sarah ___________, born in Feb. 1852, in New York, daughter of parents born in Canada. Their known children, both born in Wis., were: Gorden H., b. Mar 1889 & Jennie Finley. Gordon was known to have lived in Cumberland. Jennie married John Swanston, and they lived at 3100 15th Avenue South in Minneapolis, Minn.
