My Grandmother, Effie Fay Lilley married Clifford Terrill 25 Feb 1913 in Moundsville, Marshall County, WV, son of Daniel Elmer & Rebecca Crow Terrill/Terrell. Clifford was born 03 Jun 1893 in Moundsville, Marshall County, WV and died 27 Jan. 1961 in Harrisville, Ritchie County, WV. Effie died in the Wheeling Hospital she was 81 years old, the daughter of Andrew & Arabelle/Arobell Price Lilley born April 20, 1891 in Marshall County, WV. Effie was a retired cook for the Ohio County Sanitarium. Effie had 10 children.

I will always remember the wonderful family picnics we had every year in Viola, WV., there was wonderful food, swimming in the creek, playing with all our cousins. there was always a game of Horseshoes going on at the picnics. Such wonderful memories of those family times.


Effie was a retired cook for the Ohio County Sanitarium; a Methodist by faith.

Effie had 10 children. At the time of her death she had 49 grandchildren and 66 great-grandchildren.
