Mrs.Jane Young, widow of the late Jacob Young, died suddenly at the home of her son William F. Hamlin, in Lopatcong Township, Wednesday morning. Mrs. Young retired in the evening in her usual good health, and was stricken with paralysis as she was about to leave her room the next morning. A physician was summoned, but she expired soon after the attack. She was 74 years of age and twice married. Two sons and one daughter by her first marriage survive. via;William F.Hamlin, with whom she resided; Frank Hamlin, of Harmony, and Mrs. Lanina Thompson of Stewartsville, Joseph and John Young of Phillipsburg, are stepsons of the deceased. Three sisters also survive, Mrs. Annie Anderson and Mrs. Amanda Westlake, of Newark, and Mrs. Helen Richards, of William Township, Northampton County, Pa. She was a member of the Lutheran Church.
