He was born on March 31, 1895, at Huntsville, Utah, the son of John Felt Jr., and Jargena Cecelia Rasmussen Felt. He attended public schools at Huntsville and Weber Academy at Odgen, Utah.
He came to Idaho Falls in 1917 and then in December of 1917, he joined the US Army serving in France during World War I. Following his discharge he went to Twin Falls and returned to Idaho Falls in 1926 where he associated with the Continental Oil Company as a distributor. He retired in 1957.
He was a member of the LDS Church for which he was a high priest in the 3rd LDS Ward and had been budget director and ward clerk for many years in that ward. He was also a home teacher for the LDS Church.
He had been president of the Idaho Falls Kiwanis Club, commander of the Bonneville American Legion Post 56, and he was a state grand chef dGare 10-8 of the American Legion.
He was on the Bonneville Selective Service Board for 22 years serving most of that time as chairman.
He was married to Julie Frei on Sept. 1, 1930 at Burley. the marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.
He is survived by his widow of Idaho Falls; one daughter and three sons: Mrs. Ralph (Dorothy) Conway of Kailin, Hawaii; Rowland Felt of Richland, Wash.; John Felt of Wickham Market, Suffolk, England, and Gene Felt of Worland, Wyo.; also seven grandchildren.
One brother and one sister also survive: J. Earl Felt of Huntsville, Utah, Mrs. Arthur (Elva) Davis of Logan, Utah.
