Beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Clara Midgley Hansen, 93, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 1994.

Born July 29, 1901 in Hyrum, Utah to John E. and Annie Anderson Midgley. Married L. Dewey Hansen, October 15, 1924 in the Salt Lake Temple. He passed away May 22, 1992.Clara was a wonderful wife and mother and built her life around her family.

Survived by daughters, Beverly Morris (Jack S.), Anna Rae Rueckert (H. Sperry), Salt Lake City; Marilyn Drachman Cook (Guy R.), Modesto, California; nine grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mabel Bryant, Leah Olson, Jean Benassi, and Lois Burns, Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by one sister and four brothers.

The family wishes to extend sincere appreciation to the staff of The Crosslands Health Care Center for their kindness and gentle way with our mother, and for allowing the family to participate in her care.

"She's the leavening that keeps us together; she's the heart of our family; she's the standard we measure ourselves by; and she echoes the best part of us."

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 24, 1994, 10 a.m. at the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 South Highland Drive where friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Friday evening and Saturday from 8:45-9:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment Salt Lake City Cemetery.
