Born Jan. 14th. 1836, died Sept. 20th. 1914.
And so through all the length of days thy goodness faileth never
Good shepherd, may I sing thy praise within thy house for ever.
N.B. The above inscription is on the North side of the tomb, and that of Frances Mary Buss is on the South side.
The epitaph is taken from the hymn, "The King of love my shepherd is", by Henry Williams Baker (1821-1877).
