MR. GEORGE FINNEGAN
Madison Man Dies at Indianapolis
Mr. John C. White is in receipt of a telegram announcing the death at Indianapolis yesterday of Mr. George Finnegan. The deceased was a native of Madison, moving to Indianapolis about twenty years ago. At the time of his sickness and death he was engaged in the restaurant business. When a boy and young man he was quite popular and was familiarly called Nafreen. He was in the early days of roller skating considered the champion fancy skater in Madison. After his marriage he located in Indianapolis, where he ever afterwards made his home. He leaves a wife, formerly Miss Hattie White, of this city, and six children, four daughters and two sons, the oldest girl being nineteen years of age, the youngest three. The body will be brought in on the noon train tomorrow and the burial will be in Springdale cemetery.
