OBITUARY - ALBERT D. ADKINSON
. Albert D. Adkinson, 78, of Highway 12 and Hudson Rd. Granger, died Tuesday, Jan 11 at his home.
. He was born at Jennings, Kansas and came west with his parents and family at the age of two, settling in North Yakima to become one of the early pioneers there. He spent his early years and received his education in Yakima.
. On Sept. 12, he and Miss Marion Jeffrey were united in marriage in Yakima and together moved to Snoqualmie Falls, moving back to Granger area in 1931.
. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Marion M. Adkinson; one daughter, M. Janice Merk; three grandchildren, James Merk, Marlene Merk and Suzanne Merk and one great grandson, Branden Merk. One sister, Mrs. Mary Jones of Seattle, also survives.
