Esther Robertson Crawford, 90, of Loganville, GA died Wednesday, March 29, 2006 in Southern Plantation Retirement Village, Loganville, GA. She was the daughter of the late William Hillman and Rebecca Leisher Robertson and the wife of the late Ralph S. Crawford. She was also preceded in death by five brothers, Charles B. Robertson, William D. Robertson, J. Andrew Robertson, Albert E. Robertson and Thomas L. Robertson and one sister, Marie R. Allen. She was a resident of Henderson County for the past 60 years, was a charter member of Covenant Presbyterian Church and volunteered with the Red Cross, the United Way and Covenant Presbyterian Church. She retired from General Electric. She is survived by a son, William B. Crawford and wife Julie of Ashland City, TN; a daughter, Laura C. Overcast of Loganville, GA; two brothers, James B. Robertson and George R. Robertson; one sister, Dorothy R. Romanchuk; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Monday, April 3, 2006 at the Chapel In The Pines of Jackson Funeral Service with Rev. Donald H. Taws officiating. Burial will follow at Shepherd Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 4:00 to 6:00 pm and also one hour prior to the services in the chapel. Memorials may be made to the Presbyterian Home For Children in Black Mountain at: 80 Lake Eden Rd., Black Mountain, NC 28711 or to ones' favorite charity.
