Mrs. Amendola was a lifelong Niagara Falls resident. During World War II, Alice worked as a Tool Crib Clerk for Camp Bell and later worked as a production worker for Kimberly-Clark Corporation. She was a member of Prince of Peace Church where she served on their Altar and Rosary Society.
She was predeceased by two sisters; Mabel (late Lawrence) Peer and Edna (late Cecil) Bullman, and five brothers; William (late Lillian) Bateman, Thomas (late Ann) Bateman, James (late Eva) Bateman, Francis Bateman and John (late Jenny) Bateman.
