Mrs, David H. Crane
Mrs. Elizabeth Mary Crane, a lady well known in Cortland and McGrawville, died Sunday morning at her home 88 North Main-st., after an illness of only a few days as the result of a shock. Mrs. Crane was born in England 77 years ago and came to America when 9 years old, her parents locating in Onondaga county. For many years she and her husband lived in Cortlandville.
Mrs. Crane is survived by her husband, two sons, Ernest and Albert Crane, both of Cortland; an adopted daughter, Mrs. Fred Miller of Homer, and two brothers, Isaac Hinds and William Hinds, both of DeRuyter. Her sister Mrs. Robert Clegg, died at McGrawville Sept. 3, 1917. She also leaves fourteen nieces and four nephews.
The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon, burial in Cortland Rural cemetery.
