Son of Jean and Octavia Corneille Millet. He was brought up as a devout Catholic. He worked hard from the age that he was able. He worked on the family farm, in the saw mill and event went to work in New Orleans for the cable car company.

The family moved to Baton Rouge and he retired from Ethel Corp.
