NYSTROM, Matilda Kindel, a precious faithful child of God was born June 19, 1916, and went home to be with her Lord on June 18, 2005. She was preceded by her husband, Bob and they were married for 62 years. Born in Limestone, PA, she was the youngest of 12. Mrs. Nystrom moved to Tucson in 1944 and taught school for over 35 years. She also taught Sunday School for 40 years. Matilda will be remembered by family, friends, students and parents alike as a sweet and loving person. She is survived by one daughter, Mary (John Rex) Reed of Norman, OK; one son, Robert (Gene Ann) Nystrom of Tucson; two grandchildren, Amanda and Karen Reed; one niece, Nan Shipp. A visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 22, 2005 at ADAIR FUNERAL HOME, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd. (at Speedway). Funeral services will follow the visitation at 10:00 a.m. Matthew Heathco and Ron McNeeley will officiate. Burial will follow at East Lawn Cemetery. The family requests donations to be sent to Palo Verde Christian School or Odyssey Hospice.
