"Miss Laura Buckles died last Wednesday evening after a short illness. Funeral services were held at the M.E. Church Thursday afternoon conducted by Rev. R.A. Dadisman of Hutchinson, after which the remains were interred in Cottonwood cemetery. The circumstances surrounding the death of this young lady are very sad and the family have the sympathy of all."
